Newcastle Disc Golf is excited to host the spring Handicap Tag League for both members and nonmembers.  All skill levels welcome!
Non-members must book and pay for a greens fee which is $10+tax/player/week, while members do not have to pay this fee.  
The $30 fee gets you a league tag as well as makes you eligible for prizes and enters you into the ace pot. Each week a prize will be given out based on either a player's results or a random draw.  If you get an ace during a league round then you win the ace pot. Each week the tags are redistributed so that whoever had the best round relative to their handicap (average) gets the #1 tag and bragging rights for the week. 
How the Handicap League works: Each week players will compete against each other using their handicaps to level the playing field by adjusting the scores, giving everyone a chance to win.  This allows someone who might shoot +10 to compete with someone that shoots -6. This may seem complicated but this year we will be using an app called Udisc to do the calculations so that all you have to do is play your best.
